Larry Silverstein, developer and leaseholder for the World Trade Center site, recently lost over $3 billion in insurance money he was going to use to rebuild. While the Freedom Tower will be built as planned, plans for the other towers on the site may be scaled back or removed completely. The New York Times Magazine presents four proposals from leading landscape architecture firms for park on the site.
