Pacific Lumber Co. says thatthe use of helicopters protects the environment in keepingwith the Headwaters agreement that restricts loggingroads. Environmentalists say the choppers will ruin thewilderness experience. A judge temporarily barred Pacific LumberCo. from using helicopters but the environmentalists mustpost a $250,000 indemnification bond against losses Pacific Lumber says it will suffer.
