"It's a tale of two markets," says Danielle Hale, chief economist for Realtor.com.
"America’s secondary cities have recorded robust luxury price growth, with at least 20 counties posting double-digit gains over the past year," reports Beckie Strum.
That data from the most recent issue of a monthly report by Realtor.com.
"Cities on the Gulf Coast of Florida as well as Seattle, Las Vegas and Nashville, Tennessee, and their environs all recorded double-digit price increases over the past year," adds Strum.
The activity contrasts with slowing growth in the overall market.
