FlixBus is resurrecting a marketing gimmick that garnered backlash from religious groups.
Intercity bus operator FlixBus announced it is bringing back the controversial name of a bus line in Poland, report Wendy Urquhartand and Harry Sekulich for the BBC.
The line, which runs to the seaside resort of Hel, was originally numbered 666 by its original operator PKS Gdynia, prompting outcries from religious groups that led to a renaming of the line to 669. "The new 13-hour route run by FlixBus will connect Kraków to Hel, passing through other major Polish regional towns and cities including the capital Warsaw."
