Apply NowThe Senior Coordinator of Redevelopment Site Analysis reports to the Competitive Sites Manager. This position performs highly responsible, independent professional duties related to a proactive and holistic effort to attract private capital investment into the County’s redevelopment areas to fuel economic prosperity.
The ideal candidate will be one who can focus primarily on working with business and property owner applicants in processing redevelopment program incentive requests through an on-line application portal, preparing associated agreements and agenda items for BOCC approval, monitoring the progress of the associated incentive work, assisting applicants in filing reimbursement claims at the conclusion of the work and maintaining project files documenting the work from start to finish. Other redevelopment work such as capital improvement plan development and execution, redevelopment studies and plans, and redevelopment opportunities analysis and program improvements will also come into play providing for a dynamic and challenging environment requiring the ideal candidate to be able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required in economic development, economics, business, public administration or a related field. Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted in the complete job description.
