“Reinvent Phoenix” Seeks to Cultivate Change Along the City's Light Rail Corridor

A multi-agency planning effort is hoping to boost Phoenix's sustainability by creating a new model for urban development around the city's emerging transit corridor.

The city of Phoenix has a long way to go in terms of public transit and sustainable development. That is why the city, the federal government, Arizona State University, and St. Luke’s Health Initiatives are coordinating efforts to increase the density around light rail stops.
