Submissions
Planetizen Press is accepting manuscripts for consideration from authors and opinion leaders. We're looking for manuscripts that are near completion on the subjects Planetizen covers on a regular basis:
- Urban and regional planning and land use
- Transportation and transit
- Environmental issues
- Energy and infrastructure
- Historic preservation
- Landscape architecture
- Urban planning technology
- Planning-related humor
We are open to ideas ranging from extended academic papers to popular audience non-fiction, like The Tipping Point. Our goal is to encourage debate and spread knowledge of the concepts and goals of urban planning.
Near-finished manuscripts only, please. We are not seeking to develop books with authors from scratch.
Planetizen works with authors to develop their content, arranges printing and publication, and manages e-commerce and distribution.
