Conan O'Brien's Streetscape Improvements to Proposed 'Conan O'Brien Blvd.'

In response to Chicago's recent naming of a street in honor of Oprah Winfrey, late night TV host Conan O'Brien has suggested having his own street in L.A., along with various streetscape improvements.

Curbed LA points to the video of O'Brien's proposal for adopting an under-maintained street in the Van Nuys area of Los Angeles.

"Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has not responded to Conan O'Brien's requests to change the name of Van Nuys's West Raymer Street--"a fixer-upper," in Andy Richter's words--to Conan O'Brien Boulevard. So Conan is showing his dedication to the street with a little beautification, a porta potty attendant, and some oversized novelty checks."
