Las Vegas Included in California's Rail Plans

Las Vegas will now be included in plans for California's high speed rail network, according to the Department of Transportation.
An agreement between the states of California and Nevada has included Las Vegas in plans to build a regional high speed rail network.
"The 800-mile corridor long has been proposed to run between Sacramento and San Diego with stops in the San Francisco and L.A. areas."
