Recently, two cases involving coastal property in Santa Barbara were rejected for hearings by the U.S. Supreme Court, which amounted to a victory for those who aim to make Southern Californias beaches accessible to all. MIR is pleased to present this interview with Robert Garcia, Director of the City Project and Senior Attorney at the Center for Law in the Public Interest, in which he addresses the issues of coastal access and environmental justice.
