He is also president of Forest City Stapleton, a separate entity that was chosen to transform Denver's former Stapleton International Airport into a 4,700-acre mixed use urban community of 12,000 residential units and 13 million square feet of commercial development... 'Do you know why a Native American rain dance is always successful?' Vilkin asks. 'Because they don't stop dancing until it rains. And that's what makes a good developer. You have to spot where your vision and the community's vision intersect and then not give up.'"
