UN-Habitat's University Network Initiative (UNI) connects university-based researchers and educators to UN Habitat activities. Their new web portal, uni.unhabitat.org, provides a place for faculty and universities to register as individual and institutional members of UNI and gives access to their Global Urban Lecture videos, research Hubs on Informal Urbanism, Climate Change, Urban Regeneration, Safer Cities, Urban Accessibility, Urban Governance, Gender, and Urban Form.
The portal also resources about university participation in the Habitat III gathering to take place in Quito in October 2016.
