The Mayors National Housing Forum has released: "National Housing Agenda: A Springboard for Families, For Communities, For Our Nation". This report presents 60 housing policy recommendations addressing an array of housing challenges for U.S. cities, from rental housing issues to homeownership, public housing, special needs housing and homelessness issues. For example, one of the recommendations: "-"Permanent housing created through the McKinney Act homeless programs-Shelter Plus Care, the Supportive Housing Programs, the SRO Program- should be renewed through the mainstream HUD Housing Certificated Fund, rather than through renewals of the McKinney Act Programs."
