Celebrity SimCity Live On-line Play-and-Tweet

A much-anticipated new version of the classic video game SimCity launches this week and Dr. Jordan Yin of the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs has been invited to participate as the designated urban planner in an on-line Celebrity SimCity event for PCgamer.com that includes SimCity lead designer Stone Librande, video game guru Markus Persson, NFL player Chris Kluwe (@ChrisWarcraft), and several other internet personalities: http://www.pcgamer.com/tag/celebrity-simcity/

This Thursday at 3:30pm, Dr. Yin will log-on to Celebrity SimCity in real-time on the jumbo projection screen in the College Atrium. He’ll give a tour of his virtual city and the cities created by the other celebrity players. Plus, we’ll be live-Tweeting with some of the other celebrity players (their schedules permitting), and Jordan will be taking suggestions from the Atrium audience on how to improve his urban creation.
