"The state Tourism and Sports Authority reopened the search Wednesday for a place to build the Arizona Cardinals' new football stadium, acknowledging that air safety issues, and perhaps politics, may have doomed the proposed Tempe location... The decision to solicit new site proposals represents a stunning turnabout for a board that for months has defended its original choice, even as it drew fire first from the FAA, then from Phoenix, a coalition of major airlines and the nation's largest pilots union."
