No Building Left Behind: Adaptive Reuse of Sacred Spaces

Cleveland, OH – As part of its commitment to address critical issues that impact Northeast Ohio, the Levin College Forum presents No Building Left Behind: Adaptive Reuse of Sacred Spaces. A group of expert panelists will discuss the adaptive reuse of religious and other sacred buildings on Tuesday, April 20 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. in Glickman-Miller Hall at The Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs, 1717 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115.

A hot topic in Cleveland and other cities around the world, developers, real estate professionals, community organizations, elected officials, preservation advocates, planners and architects are now exploring ways to deal with treasured religious buildings of all denominations that are left behind as communities move or outgrow the current setting.
Moderated by Alenka Banco, Owner/Director of Josaphat Arts Hall & Convivium33 Gallery, the Forum will feature a select group of expert panelists who will present strategies and options that can guide urban decision makers through the process from good intentions to good decisions.
