The Los Angeles Department of City Planning proposes to establish a pre-qualified list of on-call environmental consultants to prepare Environmental Impact Reports (EIR) for the New Community Plan Program, including implementing ordinances; prepare environmental clearance for General Plan Elements, General Plan Amendments, specific plans, nexus studies, facilities financing plans and implementing ordinances; and complete other task as needed to include CEQA compliance and other related environmental services.

The City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning proposes to establish a pre-qualified list of on-call transportation consultants to perform the following services either singularly or in combination: align transportation and land use policies and objectives so that transportation projects build off and inform land use decisions; utilize the Transportation Element, SCAG Regional Transportation Plan and Metro Long Range Transportation Plan to develop transportation programs and policies for New Community Plans; analyze multimodal transportation systems with the goal of maximizing mobility and access through transportation improvements; develop a range of transportation plans and studies including TIMPs, Nexus, TOD and parking studies; and complete other related tasks as needed.

The sealed Qualifications Statements are due at 4:00 P.M. PST, Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at City Hall, Room 525 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

Statements received after that time will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
