ULI San Diego/Tijuana Launches New, Enhanced Website
San Diego, Calif. – To increase its outreach to the entire San Diego area real estate industry, the Urban Land Institute's San Diego/Tijuana District Council has redesigned its website at www.sandiego.uli.org. As one of the fastest growing district councils of the 37,000 member Urban Land Institute, ULI San Diego/Tijuana provides leadership in the responsible use of land to enhance the total environment.
"ULI San Diego/Tijuana addresses issues involving land use, real estate, housing, transportation and urban development through several special events and monthly breakfast meetings," said Tony Pauker, District Council chair. "Our new website features coverage of recent ULI events, a roster of members, and a streamlined process to register for our ever-growing list of programs."
In July, the group's Tuesday morning program will return to the University Club for a member-only program with the Honorable Jerry Sanders, mayor of San Diego. Earlier this month, the District Council hosted its third annual Smart Growth Awards to honor residential and commercial projects that exemplify smart growth principles. A total of seven awards were given out to recognize leaders in local design and planning.
The ULI San Diego/Tijuana District Council was established in 1997 and has more than 850 members that represent a vast spectrum of real estate disciplines. They include architects, engineers, developers, builders, planners, lenders, brokers, accountants, attorneys, academics and students. A sizeable portion of the membership belongs to ULI's Young Leaders group that encourages networking and education for young professionals under the age of 35.
