HSUG-West at UC/Berkeley on Sept 25, 2003
Dept of City and Regional Planning/UC Berkeley
Come to UC Berkeley on September 25th for the first west coast meeting of the Housing Statistics Users Group–HSUG-West! (HSUG is Housing Statistics Users Group.) Federal data experts will present the latest developments in the American Housing Survey, the U.S. Census (those pesky new metro definitions), the new CHAS data, construction start and housing vacancy surveys, market absorption data, the Residential Finance Survey, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act data, Assisted Housing Tenant Data, and the American Community Survey. State and regional data sources will also be discussed.
You should attend HSUG-West if you are a housing researcher in local or state government, an academic or researcher with an interest in housing, or an economist in the housing finance industry. HSUG-West is sponsored by the Fannie Mae Foundation; the Department of City & Regional Planning, the Institute for Urban and Regional Development, and the Berkeley Program on Housing and the Urban Economy (all at UC Berkeley); and KnowledgePlex. Attendance is free, but space is limited. The meeting will take place in Room 106 Wurster Hall on the UC campus from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
