Coloradans for Responsible Growth have created a hilarious animated cartoon: Sprawlzilla.
"All across the United States, towns, cities and helpless villages have been falling victim to a creature so powerful, so remorseless that frightened citizens dared no even utter its name..." Sprawlzilla!Amendment 24, called by proponents "the Responsible Growth Initiative", is a citizen-sponsored ballot initiative on which Coloradans will vote November 7, 2000. According to the campaign, "The Responsible Growth Initiative will: give Citizens a Vote on Future Growth in their Communities. Larger cities and counties wlil prepare maps of where they want future growth to occur and then submit these maps to local voters for approval. Development in already developed or previously approved growth areas would not be affected."
