Developers in Beijing have already relocated 300,000 city residents, some illegally, in preparation for the 2008 Olympics. Despite peaceful public protests, reparations seem to be scarce and protesters have been imprisoned. Now Amnesty International has taken notice and has threatened to turn the forced evictions into a "human rights embarassment."
