New British Embassies Blend Security And Style

Faced with keeping a balance between security and accessibility, Britain's Foreign Office is commissioning a new series of embassies for troubled capitals around the world. Unlike new fortress-like American designs, the British are trying to remain a presence in many of their former colonial cities by adapting the embassy to the location rather than creating greater divides.
