An unusual project of the University of Minnesota hopes to promotes the Twin Cities as a center for design by offering a fresh perspective of it's urban environment.
"The project, which runs through Sunday, is the creation of the University of Minnesota's Design Institute. With funding from the Target Corp., the research center has commissioned a variety of projects it hopes will promote the Twin Cities as a center for design and will encourage the public to look at their urban environment from a new perspective...he idea of a big urban game involving the public in real space and online is the answer to the question of how to create a project that involves urban designers and interactive online designers but also engages the public to see their city in a new way."
