The U.S. Cellular Field, or the former Comiskey Park, located near a 4-mile stretch of public housing, "remains dramatically isolated from its own neighborhood, walled off from some of the worst poverty in the nation....But a transformation has begun to alter several of the neighborhoods that meet near 35th and Shields, one that promises to reshape neglected landscapes and, perhaps, make life better around the ballpark....Part of the price, however, is that many who had lived near the park are being forced to move elsewhere."
