Chickens Come Home To Urban Roost?

Another city, South Florida's Delray Beach, wrestles with whether chickens can co-exist with urban residents.

The notion of keeping chickens in one's backyard ties into the movement towards a more "sustainable" food policy, where consumers get food from sources closer to home. Others may keep chickens to help with waste management. Inevitably, some find their fowl neighbors antithetical to an urban lifestyle--more suitable for the farm.
