Millennials Aren't Buying American Dream

The younger generation of Americans will continue to rent rather than buy, predicts the Urban Land Institute.
ULI's new research paper, Housing in America: The Next Decade, details the reasons Gen Yers won't invest in real estate.
John K. McIlwain, senior resident fellow of ULI predicts that "the 'disillusionment' over homeownership as a means to build wealth could last for decades to come and those entering the housing market (Generation Y essentially) will be more apt to rent longer and place more emphasis on buying for shelter rather than for investment purposes."
