New Urbanism Revolution In Winston-Salem

Winston-Salem has its own high-profile new urbanist architects that have started a most unlikely design revolution.
"What Winston-Salem lacks in growth, it's starting to make up for in style. At the helm of this effort are two local architecture firms that are leaders in New Urbanist design and are making it a priority in their work. Stimmel Associates P.A. has emerged as the state's most experienced New Urbanist landscape architecture firm, having designed the Southern Village community in Chapel Hill, completed in 1996."
