Not In My Back... Balcony?
29 August 2008 - 9:00am
Despite it's inherent legality, lit signage atop a high-rise condominium in downtown Miami is causing many a neighbor to complain.
"Looking out from his balcony on the 37th story of the Palace Condominium, William Pollak enjoys a stellar, panoramic view of the Brickell skyline.
That is, he used to enjoy the view.
When Pollak steps onto his balcony these days, he can't help but look at the large ONE BROADWAY sign that stares him in the face from the facade of the 36-story apartment tower at 1451 S. Miami Ave.
'The permits granted for this are completely improper,' Pollak said."
