Northern California's Most Despised Roadways

The San Jose Mercury News compiles a list of the 'worst of the worst' rodas in Northern California, according to it readers.

"In an informal survey of Mercury News readers, five sections of I-880 ranked among the 12 most despised roadways in the region. The interchange at Mission Boulevard and I-880 tops the Dirty Dozen list for the first time. But right behind this 50-year-old interchange are outdated ramps near Westfield Valley Fair, I-238 and the San Mateo Bridge.

...Two years ago, the California State Automobile Association ranked the Nasty Nimitz as the road with the meanest and most aggressive drivers in the area, concluding that there was a direct link between traffic jams and drivers who tailgate, weave in and out of lanes and drive way too fast."
