70 acres near Piedmont Park to be used for new mixed-living area.
"A thick rezoning request package filed Thursday with the city indicates that Mason delivered on his promise to propose a project that would make it more fun to live, work and play in the Midtown area...
Half the land would be reserved for green space, trails and a planned transit line. A third would be developed with residences and small businesses. Most of what is left has already been used by adjacent landowners..."
