Is London's Transport Crisis Over?

Transport problems will continue to strangle London's economy.
Despite the recent success of London's congestion-charging scheme, the city's economy is still suffering due to over-crowded tranportation infrastructure. A new report commissioned for Transport for London warned that "businesses were not investing in the UK because of transport problems." According to John Cartledge, deputy director of the London Transport Users Committee, London Transit has "had decades of gradual deterioration, and as systems get closer to capacity, so they become more unstable, so it takes less for the whole thing to unravel."
