Settling a long-running dispute with Denver International Airport's two largest airlines opens the way for the biggest expansion since the airport opened in 1995.
The "$137 million agreement [will include] additions to two concourses. In the biggest expansion since the airport opened in 1995, Denver will build new gate space for United Airlines and Frontier Airlines. The city will also settle old debts with United, encourage more competition at the airport and require carriers to use their gates more."
