RFQ: 'Give a Park, Get a Park' Design Competition in Detroit, MI

WebsiteThe City of Detroit, in partnership with the Knight Foundation, seeks ambitious, multidisciplinary design teams to join residents in developing a new park in one of Detroit’s vibrant neighborhoods. We want your energy and presence in a broad-based community engagement effort that asks Detroit residents what they want to see in their neighborhood park – and delivers via thoughtful exchange of ideas and dialogue. Come to Detroit this summer/fall and be a part of a new landscape-based revitalization strategy!
First place design winners will receive a prize of $10,000 and have their park design implemented by the City of Detroit. Second place design teams will receive a prize of $5,000 and third place will receive a prize of $2,500. Stipends are available for travel to Detroit in August and October of 2017.
