Urban Land Institute Extends Entry Deadline for the 2014 Awards Programs
Winners To Be Announced During Ceremony at 2014 ULI Fall Meeting in New York City
The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has announced a deadline extension for its prestigious awards programs. Submission deadlines for this year’s ULI Global Awards for Excellence and ULI Urban Open Space Award have been extended to March 3, 2014.
The ULI Global Awards for Excellence define the standard for real estate development practice worldwide. In its 36th year, the program is the centerpiece of ULI's efforts to identify and promote best practices in all types of real estate development from around the world. The awards recognize the full development process of a project—construction, economic viability, marketing, and management, as well as design.
The ULI Urban Open Space Award celebrates and promotes the creation of transformative and thoughtful public open spaces both big and small. In its 5th year, this award is not meant to be a landscape architecture or urban design prize; rather it is intended to honor the impact of the open space—from the look and feel of the space and how intensively it is used to its economic and social impact on adjacent communities. The winner of the award receives a $10,000 cash prize.
For decades, ULI has set the standard in recognizing outstanding real estate development projects, related programs, and visionaries in urban development. ULI’s awards programs are highly selective and prestigious. Winners and finalists benefit from worldwide recognition among influential leaders in real estate− and urban development−related fields.
The call for entries is now open and award submissions will be accepted until March 3, 2014. Results will be announced and the winners awarded during a ceremony at the ULI Fall Meeting, October 21-23, 2014, at the Javits Center in New York, N.Y. Online entry forms and complete information on eligibility and requirements are available at www.uli.org/awards . For information, email email@example.com.
