What's the power of foreign direct investment (FDI)? During 2012 the state of Florida created over 11,450 jobs from FDI alone, and the state of Texas saw $18 billion in investment. With 1,671 FDI projects occurring during 2012 in North America, economic development organizations can't afford to be on the sidelines any longer. Our November webinar will explore the continent of Asia and how it remains one of the top FDI project regions for EDOs to target.
By hearing from our expert speakers and learning best practices from relevant case studies, economic developers will be able to apply the strategies and methods taught during this webinar and tailor it to their community's position in the Asian market.
Webinar speaker Dennis Meseroll is an experienced Asian site consultant and has worked for over 14 years in the region. Not only does Mr. Meseroll teach on the subject of site selection and foreign direct investment issues in Asia, he is also the co-founder of the Small to Medium Enterprises Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.
Join us for a webinar on November 14 at 11:30 a.m. EST and:
- Learn from real-life case studies of successful Asia FDI.
- Learn from the experts' methods and practices to attract and grow your EDO's FDI programs.
- How to use your community's assets to your advantage with FDI.
