LEED-ND Training in Minneapolis Nov 16-17

The Minnesota chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council is offering a two-day LEED for Neighborhood Development (ND) training workshop for land-use, urban design, transportation, and environmental practitioners on November 16-17 at the Minneapolis Central Library. The Nov. 16 half-day session will be taught by Eliot Allen, AICP, LEED AP-ND, CNU-A, a principal at Criterion Planners of Portland Oregon. Eliot was an orginal LEED-ND core committee member, and has served as the technical consultant for LEED-ND since 2007, including coauthoring the LEED-ND Reference Guide and supervising over 170 certification reviews and 100 credit interpretation rulings. In addition to LEED Faculty, Eliot is a member of USGBC's Location & Planning Technical Advisory Group, a core committee member of the Sustainable SITES Initiative, and co-chair of the 2012 ACEEE panel on net-zero energy communities.
