Cost-effective Deep Learning courses through the Bloustein Online Continuing Education Program are designed for smart, busy professionals with limited training budgets. We provide you with high-quality, practical courses designed and led by expert practitioners. Our courses are interactive and international, so you can share ideas and ask questions of a wide variety of practitioners. You also can receive 14 AICP CM credits per course.
From May 25 to July 2, BOCEP offers four Deep Learning courses:
Economic Development Analysis. Learn the fundamental skills of one of the most important planning topics for a challenging economy. Learners will build their knowledge in such topics as location quotients, shift-share analysis and economic specialization. Through this course, learners can develop a blueprint for analyzing the economy in their community or region.
Environmental Planning Law. Designed for anyone involved in sustainability or environmental planning, this course explores key legal issues in environmental management and sustainability policies.Upon completing this class, learners will have basic familiarity with these laws and with the research methods they may employ to stay abreast with future modifications in these laws.
Pro Formas. One of the most important tools developers and investors use to make development decisions is the pro forma. If you want to attract the kind of development you would like to see in your community, becoming an expert in this tool can help.
Programming Cultural Uses. Think of this class as site planning for creative placemaking. Whether you're an architect, planner, artist or policy maker, this class can help you in promoting land use and design solutions that can grow and sustain the arts in your community.
There's an additional benefit if you register by May 20: You will get one hour of career coaching and a complimentary review of your resume free.
For those seeking a Bloustein Professional Certificate, there is an additional $50 fee per course. To get more information on available scholarships, please contact the Professional Development Institute or sign up for the PDI newsletter.
