Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Consultants for the Greater Chattanooga Regional Growth Initiative

Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Consultants for the Greater Chattanooga Regional Growth Initiative

Consortium of Greater Chattanooga Regional Leaders

A consortium of Greater Chattanooga Regional Leaders is issuing a Request for Qualifications from consulting firms or individuals interested in working with the Greater Chattanooga Region in the development of a 40‐year, comprehensive growth plan.

The deadline for submittals is May 13, 2011.

Our region has enjoyed some significant economic development victories in the past few years, and we are determined to proactively engage to make the most of our current momentum while preserving the quality of life, natural beauty, and other community assets that set us on the path to growth in the first place. We are seeking the most competent and experienced partners to guide our planning.

Please note that this process is running contemporaneously with our pursuit of Sustainable
Communities grant funding from HUD, EPA and DOT. We intend for this process to complement that effort and to do nothing that might be construed as out of step with it.

We hope the RFQ is self‐explanatory, but there are instructions for submitting requests for clarification and other questions in Section IV of the document.
