UC Berkeley Extension
At UC Berkeley Extension, you can learn how sustainability interfaces with economics, social issues, ethical consumerism, green building, design, architecture, and urban planning. Our courses and programs provide options that are specific to your interests and career goals as you prepare to enter the green economy.
For spring 2011, UC Berkeley Extension offers a variety of new courses in areas such as environmental justice, ecology, sustainable design, policy and leadership, and water management. Also new is the Certificate Program in the Essentials of Green Chemistry, developed in partnership with the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health.
UC Berkeley Extension is a U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Education Provider and offers USGBC-approved courses for Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) continuing education credit.
