Planetizen is Seeking Fall Interns
Planetizen
The internship involves a four-step training process over 12 weeks, giving you the opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience:
- Training. You'll get a thorough training in the latest trends in urbanism and development, as well as a primer in online journalism.
- Aggregation. You'll become part of the Planetizen news team, gathering news stories from around the globe dealing with the built environment.
- Editorial. You'll research and report on a current issue from beginning to end, using our network of experts and connections to develop a rich feature story.
- Research project/ Crowdsourcing. You'll develop your data gathering and surveying skills working on a crowdsourcing project gathering ideas from Planetizen's professional audience.
Requirements:
You must be applying for school credit to intern with us, or give another compelling reason for your participation. Excellent writing skills and reading comprehension are also a prerequisite. Residence in the Los Angeles area is also required: we will not be offering long-distance internships at this time.
