The Planetizen editorial staff will be basing its 2011 list on a number of criteria, including reader submissions. Additionally, books for nomination should be:
• considered by the urban planning community to be a "must-read" for urban planning and development professionals.
• currently in-print and available.
• generally acknowledged to be directly relevant to the field of urban planning.
