Routledge

Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group, is proud to announce that the Metropolitan Institute at Virginia Tech have partnered with Routledge to secure the future of Housing Policy Debate, following the dissolution of the Fannie Mae Foundation.

In celebration of this new partnership, Routledge invite you to view the first issue of the new volume, FREE until 31st May 2010 at: http://www.informaworld.com/openurl?genre=issue&issn=1051-1482&volume=2…. The issue focuses on the public housing transformation which has occurred in Chicago over the last 15 years, the radical and often controversial methods used to produce this makeover, and the broader implications for both national policymakers and local practitioners.

ABOUT HOUSING POLICY DEBATE

For 20 years the quarterly has published original research, debate and reviews of the highest quality, engaging its readers in informed debate and research on a broad range of domestic and international topics, from real estate market trends to metropolitan development to the role of housing in community life. It is one of the world's most respected and highly ranked housing journals, esteemed by practising planners, policymakers and scholars for its authority, independence, and vision.

Housing Policy Debate came to Virginia Tech and Routledge after the dissolution of the Fannie Mae Foundation, which had previously supported the journal with a generous grant. Following the loss of this financial support the journal will now be available via subscription only.
