Request for Proposals - Affordable Housing for South Los Angeles.
Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles
Goals & Objectives
CRA/LA's goal with this Request for Proposals ("RFP") is to promote homeownership opportunities for moderate-income or workforce households (up to 150% Area Median Income), redevelop underutilized sites, create continuity in neighborhoods and eliminate blight in the Council District Nine Corridors South of The Santa Monica Freeway Recovery Redevelopment Project Area ("CD9 Project Area"). The developments are expected to employ high-quality architectural design and sustainable building practices.
CRA/LA's primary objective is to see the sites developed with for-sale housing, in a form to be determined by the respondents, but which may include attached or detached townhomes, condominiums, small lot subdivision development, and stacked flats. As a secondary objective, CRA/ LA is seeking proposals that maximize opportunities to integrate sustainable development into design and construction.
