UC Berkeley Extension

For urban planners, policy makers, developers, architects, and other professionals pursuing new green opportunities, Extension's new Leadership in Sustainability and Environmental Management program teaches cost-effective ways to implement sustainability practices in public and private sectors and become knowledgeable in key areas of environmental law and policy, compliance management systems, and climate change risk-mitigation strategies. In addition, the new Solar Energy and Green Building program offers a comprehensive orientation to the growing solar industry and prepares students for certification exams.

With more than 60 courses and growing enrollments from professionals, UC Berkeley Extension's sustainability offerings cover everything from sustainable buildings, transportation, and energy to economic policies and LEED.
