Transit Oriented Development Getting A Boost In Atlanta

"The people charting metro Atlanta's way out of its traffic and smog problems say one solution would be to create mini-cities around MARTA rail stations. Already, MARTA is moving forward with concrete plans --- and actual concrete, in one case --- to put thousands of housing units and millions of square feet of office space at three Northside stations." However, residents around one MARTA station don't like the idea of new high density apartments going up in their neighborhood.
