This course is being held in partnership with the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority.

Economic developers pursue a number of strategies to ensure a healthy local economy, from helping small businesses grow to leading large redevelopment projects. Hear from professionals who work in various facets of the field on how local initiatives can further a community's economic development goals. While IEDC courses can be taken in any sequence, those new to economic development are encouraged to take this course first as an overview of the field's key activities.
