Planetizen Press Accepting Book Submissions

Planetizen/Urban Insight

Planetizen Press, publisher of The Planetizen 2009 Guide to Graduate Urban Planning Programs, is now accepting submissions for future publications. We're looking for manuscripts that are near completion on the subjects Planetizen covers on a regular basis:

-urban and regional planning and land use
-transportation and transit
-environmental issues
-energy and infrastructure
-historic preservation
-landscape architecture
-urban planning technology
-planning-related humor

We are open to ideas ranging from extended academic papers to popular audience non-fiction like The Tipping Point. Our goal is to encourage debate and spread knowledge of the concepts and goals of urban planning.

Near-finished manuscripts only, please. We are not seeking to develop books with authors from scratch.

Planetizen works with authors to develop their content, arranges printing and publication, and manages e-commerce and distribution.
