The Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), working in conjunction with the Philadelphia City Planning Commission and the Philadelphia Department of Commerce, requests a proposal for a consulting team to provide planning, land use economics, and market research services pertaining to industrial land use in the City of Philadelphia. The proposed study will examine current and future industrial land use needs, opportunities, and constraints in Philadelphia, determine the most appropriate and feasible areas, districts, and corridors for industrial use within the city, and present recommendations for the acquisition, zoning, and development of industrial land. The services required will include a study of the economic impact of industrial activity in the city, mapping and analysis of the city's current industrial land and building supply, a detailed market analysis of trends in industrial land use demand, and related recommendations.

Pre-Proposal Meeting: Monday, May 5, 2008 at 10:00 am. Attendance is strongly urged.
Questions: All questions must be submitted in writing on May 9, 2008. Responses will be e-mailed by Friday, May 16, 2008 to all registered respondents.
