Call for Presentations - CA Downtown Assoc Annual Conference
California Downtown Association
About CDA
The California Downtown Association (CDA) is the state leader and champion
for the revitalization of downtowns and commercial business districts. Our
annual conference is the only statewide event that caters to the interests of
downtown professionals, developers, architects, government officials, economic
development specialists and urban planners. Together with the business and
property owners, these key community players are transforming California's
vital city centers. Our mission is to be the primary educational resource and
network for downtown and business district professionals.
Our Audience
The CDA conference attracts professionals involved in commercial revitalization projects. Participants
include: executive directors, staff, board members and stakeholders of business district management
organizations, public officials, economic development professionals, city staff, architects, planners, and
other consultants
Presentation Proposals
Help us bring it all together at CDA's 2008 Annual Conference in Santa Rosa. We welcome proposals for premiere educational sessions that showcase strategies and innovative solutions to business district challenges and present effective methods for operating successful programs that energize a district or an organization. We also seek motivational sessions geared to stimulating creative thinking and to developing leaders who are skilled in bringing together the
elements for business district success.
Our attendees hold high expectations for dynamic presentations that deliver specific steps in successful strategies. Presentations that include case studies and sessions that allow for extensive presenter/attendee interaction are most welcome. Roundtable sessions led by an experienced faciliator are also extremely valuable.
Deadline for Submission: April 30.
