Keys to Lovable Communities is a week-long immersion course in Orvieto, Italy that will do just that for anyone working to improve the public realm. Spend a week in this medieval town to learn the keys. Meet with city and Cittaslow (Slow City) officials, measure, observe, analyze, discuss, redesign. We will immerse you in the Italian culture so you learn about food, the importance of beauty, the passion for making quality wine, why people matter, creating a lovable place. Contrast Italian and American cultures to better understand your own and how to create lovable communities. AICP awards 30 hours credit for the course.
